Why Conlans exists
Conlans was started out of frustration with the way commercial cleaning in Melbourne usually works.
Plenty of companies were happy to win the contract by quoting low, then quietly let the standard slip once the paperwork was signed. Missed visits. A different person every week with nobody briefed on the site. Nobody answering the phone when something needed fixing. Office managers and strata committees putting up with it because nobody seemed to be doing it any better.
The fix was simple in theory. Walk every site before quoting it, so the price reflects the actual job. Write the scope down, so nothing gets quietly dropped in month four. Train people properly for the sector they are cleaning in. And pick up the phone when it rings.

From the founder
I started Conlans because I kept hearing the same story from business owners. They had been through two or three cleaners, every one of them promised the world at the walkthrough, and every one of them drifted. Nobody was writing anything down, so there was nothing to hold anyone to.
So that is what we do differently. Every site gets a written scope with a frequency against every task, and every visit gets signed off against it. If something is missed, you call me directly and it gets fixed within 24 hours. It is not complicated. It just takes a business that is willing to be held to what it promised.

We walk every site before quoting
No square metre estimate off a floor plan or a photo. Someone comes out, measures the job and counts the bathrooms and kitchens, because that is what actually drives the hours. It is why our quotes hold.
Everything is written down
A room by room scope with a frequency against every task, signed off by you before we start and signed against every visit. When something drifts, there is a document to point at rather than an argument.
Trained for your sector
A dental surgery, a shopfront and a strata foyer are three different jobs. Everyone who attends your site is police checked, right to work verified and trained for that type of facility, then inducted on your specific site before working it alone.

The 24 hour fix
If something is missed or below the scope, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and put it right at no charge. No argument about whether it was included, because the scope is in writing.
Fixed pricing, not hourly
You get a fixed monthly figure tied to your scope. An hourly rate tells you nothing about what actually gets cleaned. If the work changes, the price only moves with your approval.

Hospital grade disinfectants
In clinical areas we use hospital grade products listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, with product lists and safety data sheets provided.

Clinical procedures are built on the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare.
What we do not claim
We hold no clinical accreditation, we do not handle clinical or sharps waste, and our window cleaning stops at two storeys. If someone tells you they do all three without the licences, ask to see them.
